There's always someone underfoot in the crowded kitchen! Jedis, Nubby, Baby E, and the pitifully foolish Mutt keep life entertaining. Herein lies the chronicle of our life, at least what I can hastily thumb-type on my iPod while someone empties the toilet onto the floor. It's crunchy here, but mostly about having fun and being okay with not being perfect. God loves me anyway!
I use this mill to make flour, about 4 quarts per week for bread and pizza dough, etc. Suddenly, I've been able to find the grain at a local Walmart, so I currently have 70lbs of grain in my kitchen in a food-safe, pest-proof wheeled storage container. Our bread costs about 25 cents a loaf, and we make a 1.5lb wholegrain loaf every day. Honey, olive oil, salt, yeast, water, whole wheat flour, and milk powder is it. Good stuff!
